Google User Data

Kodiva connects to your Google account, with your consent, to provide

recruitment features. We request only the Google scopes needed to

operate the following:

- Reading messages in your Gmail mailbox to detect and track replies to

  candidate outreach and update the status of those conversations

- Sending recruitment outreach emails from your Gmail on your behalf

- Organizing outreach messages using Gmail labels

- Creating and managing interview invitations on your Google Calendar

We access, use, store, and process this Google user data solely to

provide these features and for no other purpose. We do not use it for

advertising, and we do not access messages, calendar entries, or

contacts unrelated to your recruitment activity in Kodiva.

How this data is handled

We connect to your Google account through Nylas, Inc., our subprocessor,

which securely brokers access to Google APIs. Google user data is

encrypted in transit and at rest. We store only the outreach message

content, metadata, and interview event details needed to operate the

features above.

We retain this data only as long as needed to provide the service, or

until you disconnect your Google account or request deletion, whichever

is earlier. You can revoke Kodiva's access at any time from your Google

Account permissions at https://myaccount.google.com/permissions, or by

contacting us at help+privacy@kodiva.ai, and we will delete the

associated Google user data.

Limited Use disclosure

Kodiva's use and transfer to any other app of information received from

Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy,

including the Limited Use requirements. Specifically, we do not use

Google user data to develop, improve, or train generalized or non-

personalized AI and/or machine learning models, we do not sell it, and

we do not transfer it to third parties except as necessary to provide

the features above, to comply with applicable law, or as part of a

merger or acquisition (with notice as required).
